Change DBUSER in DBACOCKPIT

Hi

Can anybody know how to change the DBUSER in DBACOCKPIT? I want to change the user from SAP<SID> user to DB2<SID> user. I try the change button but cannot find any option to change the user.

My only workaround is by login to another client (client 000 for example), execute db2cockpit, wait till the popup for user credential appear and input the correct user. But it seems strange that there are no option to change the user without using workaround.

Please help

regards

Andreas

Hi Andreas,

Check in DBCO tcode, it should db2<sid>

The field you're referring to...DB user is nothing but the owner or schema name of the database which is always/has to be SAPSID in case of DB2 database.

Hi Prithviraj

The field is really for user name. After i re-enter password for DB2<SID> user in DBCO tcode, the field change from SAP<SID> user to DB2<SID> user.

Problem solved after re-enter the password and save.

Thank you very much

Regards

Andreas
