REST - retrieve data

Hello, i installed SoapUI and went through the Business Intelligence Platform RESTful Web Service Developer Guide. Iam able to log on to the BI platform but iam missing a possibility to retrieve data. Is there a way to send requests similar like a SELECT to retrieve data in a flexible way? thank you in advance. regards David

Hello David,

From RESTful API, you can retrieve data from a dataprovider of a Web Intelligence document for instance.

You can also execute a query on a UNX and fetch data.

In the guide i mentioned there's no description how to access the dataprovider - any sample or a good link is highly appreciated.

There are several guides:

- one for BI Platform RESTful API

- another for Web Intelligence and Semantic Layer RESTful API

Did you check both?

thats it - i was only checking the "BI platform Developer Guide".

The information i need is found in "Web Intelligence Developer Guide".

Looks like i have the information i need - if i can get it run is another question...
