Hi all,

during installation the Exchange Profile Paramater is filled with the hostname of the ABAP System of our dual usage PI. We have found out, that RFC lookups from a mappings does not work. So we have adjusted it the hostname of the JAVA System (also the paramer com.sap.aii.connect.integrationserver.httpport).

Can someone comment what is setup in your system? At least the httpport should differ for everybody, maybe your dual usage PI is installed on same host, so the name parameter does not differ.

Thanks

   Helmut

Dear Helmut,

Please check the Exchange Profile parameters when you have a dual stack system:

https://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw73ehp1/helpdata/en/48/cd3b46dd6837e3e10000000a42189d/content.htm

Parameter com.sap.aii.connect.integrationserver.httpport has the of PI system URL's port.

Best regards,

Bence

This does not answer my question? ABAP STack or Java Stack ?

Maybe I did not get the question. If you check the mentioned parameter in the exchange profile, than you can define the port number only. Have to fill with the port number of the java stack, e.g. host:port/dir -> port number from this URL. It is depending on your installation.

Hi Bence,

it was filled with the host / port of the ABAP system, I have corrected it now with the host/port of the JAVA System and want to be sure, that this is correct. That is my question!

Hi Helmut,

Yes I can confirm, that the right value of the parameter com.sap.aii.connect.integrationserver.httpport is the java port number. It is the parameter which used for the J2EE (JAVA) part of the IS.

It is configured with the JAVA port in our dual stack system as well.

Best regards,

Bence
