Detour in msmp

Hi experts

Need to know how the detour works. Might be a basic question need to know the funda of the scenario.

Detour stage condition- we have a satge where we mitigated the risks for a user in cup. After that we defined workflow as if any riskviolations it goes to detour. So if the risks are mitigated, will it goes to detour stage( we had the config setting include mitgated risks=yes). In this case how should it work. Whether it will go to detour or not.

Please suggest.

Regards,

Ravi

Hello Ravi,

Go through this SAP Note to understand the functionality of detour in case the risks were mitigated.

2130851 - Access request not sent to detour if risks were mitigated

2073883 - Why is detour not being triggered for Requests with Risk violations that have been mitigated for AC 10?

Dear Ravi,

The routing rules is similar to initiator rules expect for the fact the they are activated during the workflow process. You will have to enable the routing at the stage level and based on the routing rule used, you will have to map the rule with the specific paths. For example, if you us the routing rule "GRAC_MSMP_ROUTE_NO_ROLEOWNER" at a stage , then you will have to map the result value "N)_ROLE_OWNER" to a particular path where the request would be routed in case the roles owner for the role is not maintained.

I hope this will help.

Thanks & Regards
