We have alot of HTMLGUI Apps in the launchpad. As long, as we used a RFC with SSL encryption and disabled the HTTP port, all Apps worked fine
Then we reactivated the HTTP port for some reason (outside Fiori) and the webgui ICF service now is called with http instead of https, which leads to a CROS error. Changing the system configuration of the ICF Service to switch to HTTPS doesnt work.
Any suggestions on that?

Found the solution by myself. You have to set the profilparameter login/ticket_only_by_https=1.

Nice example Florian. We're looking at "Secure Login Web Client/Server" vs webGUI.
I wonder if you or any other SAP experts have trialled using both of these.
Our goal is to encrypt HTML/Java GUI traffic. SSO is already in place but without encryption.
