Movement Types

Hi Gurus,

Is there any specific movement types for Semi Finished product (HALB) and for Finished product (FERT)?

Where we can locate the above in a SAP System?

hai,

movement types are used for any movement of stock from and to the plant,

u can find the movement types in schedule line categories customising,

we can find it in vov6, the movement type we use for goods issue is 601,

if u want to know more about movement types see tcode:omjj.

hi,

item category + MRP type --- > Schedule line. And this schedulel line is assigned a movement type.

For finished goods the standard schedule line would be CP having a 601 movement type.

But for semifinished which we dont sell, have no movement type. But for posting the stock of that can have a movement type. This you can check in MB1C t.code from the drop down list to see the available options.
