SRM 7.0 Shopping Cart product category does not exist.

Dear Friends!

There is an error "Product Category does not exist" while creating Shopping Carts, I too have checked Logical Systems set up and PPOMA_BBP attributes all seems correct, but still product category is not flowing in to this search box and preventing me to proceed with SC creation. Please advise the solution ASAP. Enclosed error screen shot too.

Hello Muni,

Can you confirm:

- You can find the product categories in table COMM_CATEGORY

- What happens, if you search for a product category in the 'Desribe requirement' screen?

- The product categories are defined in 'Extended attributes'

Dear Franz,

Yes all these settings were there in place, but still during creation of cart, in product category search no display or entries found. What else that I can check?

Hello Muni,

Two options you could try:

- Run report RHSTRU00_ATTRIB to check the attributes of your user

- Check if there are authorisation issues (SU53)

What happens if you manually enter a product category in the 'Describe Requirement' screen?

That's about all I can think of.
