use of xi

plz can anyone say why and where we use xi in real time scenario's.

I mean why we use xi when there r lot of other integration tools.

Hi,

We use XI for Integration.

1) End to End montoring the messages in SAP XI is great

2) Re use of some components example Java Mapping

3) Maintainance is easier and Less number of resourses is needed

4) The Same SAP team can handle SAP XI in Support

as XI is a SAP software

so we use it to integrate in such scenatrios:

SAP - SAP (like ERP, CRM)

SAP - non SAP

+ SAP provides XI content which can make your integrations very easy

(you upload in XI and just create routing)
