Cannot determine the trust relationship between the IS and this Adapter Engine Instance

I found this in the XPI trace. I am in single stack Java engine and I am doing an ECC - Webservices encryption using certificates. I found this in the XPI trace.

"Cannot determine the trust relationship between the IS and this Adapter Engine Instance" What does this mean

I am getting this error, when I run the scenario, General security error (WSSecurityEngine: Callback supplied no password for: null)
