Hi guys,

I've been searching for Hana content to install on our backend system having S4H 1511 SP02 and after lot of time I've came to the conclusion that installing Hana content is not required anymore.

now I'm on one hand confused, on the other annoyed that I've not found this information in any documentation I've browsed, and they were some..

Could somebody with more knowledge please share your comments about the below affirmations?

1. the KPI Modeler is installed with S4HANA 1511 SP02

2. no other Hana content (HCO_HBA*) has to be installed as extra step

3. what soft component / products have to be installed on a separate GW system?

Looking forward to get some info and discuss about this topic as it is still very "foggy" documented.

Many thanks in advance,

All the best,

Lucian

Hi Lucian

1. Correct

2. Correct

... It's the old "no news is good news" approach

Went through this myself very recently... !

3. As usual for any Fiori app you need to:

a) Assign the relevant frontend/backend roles, especially suggest you assign the frontend role SAP_BR_ANALYTICS_SPECIALIST

This gets you the configuration apps where you can both see the standard SSB tile settings and create your own custom SSB tiles

b) Activate the OData services ...

For smart business you will also need to activate

/sap/opu/odata/SSB/SMART_BUSINESS_DESIGNTIME_SRV

/sap/opu/odata/SSB/SMART_BUSINESS_RUNTIME_SRV

c) activate any needed ICF services

Remember that each OOTB Smart Business tile for each role may have additional frontend/backend roles to be assigned, OData services to be assigned, ICF services to be activated.  You can check those in the Fiori Apps Library for the relevant app - you'll find it in the configuration section of the implementation tab.

Good luck

Jocelyn

Hi Jocelyn,

Thank you very much for your response!

I will go through the implementation soon, so I'll keep the conversation open for the moment so I or anybody else can add some more useful details in here.

Best regards,

Lucian
