'Error in writing attributes' when using function tab

Hi,

We are on SRM 3.0 (EBP 4.0 , Sp11).

Recently we made a client copy. I deleted the existing org units and positions using RHRHDL00 report.

When i created a new root organization and other org units, I am unable to change the function tab. The tab is changeable, but when i try to click it I get an error - BBP_ATTR 045 "Error writing attributes".

I checked out note 859616, but this is meant for SP 10. The code changes are already present in my system (SP11).

Can this error be due to some switches being active for HR data replication using ALE?

How can I resolve this issue. Please advise.
