Upgrade of portal from Netweaver 7.0 to 7.5

We have just upgraded one of our portals to Netweaver 7.5 from 7.0. My question is about the old JCo  connections we still have configured in the old Web Dynpro admin area. We do use some legacy applications that use them so is there a way to migrate them to the new JCo setup in NWA or do we have to set them all up again? Do we need to do anything and should we just leave them where they are?

Hello Chris,

The JCo2 API is available in NW7.50, so you can still use your legacy JCo connections.

However you have the possibility to migrate to JCo3 API as well. Your choice. The JCo2 API is still kept for compatibility reasons.
