Disabling/Deleting NWDI Configuration from SAP MII

Hi All,

We have exported and imported complete NW/MII system in order to maintain the same NW version on both servers.

Now we are in the process of deleting the unwanted data from the new server. The new server does not require the NWDI configuration, which the old box has. I am trying to delete the Configuration in MII Menu. I cannot do it as this ask for the authentication.

I have deleted the config from XMII table. But even though this config remains the same. Please help me how to clean up the configuration.

Hi Partheeban.

Goto http://<server>:<port>/nwa

Click on Configuration tab. Click on Infrastructure. Open Java System Properties.

Go to Services Tab. Filter for SDIC service. Select SDIC service. In the Properties scroll down and last you will find one property called sdic.sld.url

It will have the URL of the NWDI server which was configured with MII system. Clear this field and save.

Hi Sriram,

I have cross checked and I don't find any URL present. But why the it present in MII Menu screen.

Please let me know how to clean this up?
