Hi,
would be great to get advise for the following Scenario:
We use the Waybill functionality for certain LTL Carriers to maintain and draw Pro Numbers. With a custom post action enhancement we call SAP TM standard WBN strategy to draw the number as soon as a Carrier gets assigned to the Freight Order during Carrier Selection which works perfectly fine.
The difficulty comes into play when we have two Freight Units that are initially assigned to the same Freight Order. They get the same waybill number which is correct at the time. However for one of the Freight Units at a later point in time a change comes in (mostly date changes) which leads the optimizer to split the aggregated Freight Units and move them to two different Freight Orders which is what we want as well.
The problem is that a new waybill number cannot be drawn. The message returned is /SCMTMS/WBN number 013. In Overview Waybill Stock I can find the number assigned to the Freight Unit and I can also see the value assigned in table /SCMTMS/D_WBNCON.
I did see that on the HBL or HAWB tab in the Freight Unit there is a button Assign or Unassign FUs with an option "Unassign FUs from HBL or HAWB" which is greyed out for me. What are the preconditions to have this button enabled?
Is there any action that can be called or does anyone has other advise to delete a dedicated link between freight unit and waybill number?
Thank you,
Mario Karrenbrock

Hi Nitesh,
yes that is what is our workaround right now.
I was just wondering if there is a standard functionality to unlink the FU and assigned Waybill Number.
I did do a test deleting the specific Entry from table /SCMTMS/D_WBNCON but TM does not like that either and dumps when trying to draw a new number.
Best Regards,
Mario
