possible ways of sending POD to ECC

Hello All,

As per the requirement of sending POD (Delivered event) to ECC to update in inbound delivery.

We have implemented the solution sending POD event to ECC via IDOC, we have created outbound IDOC in EM when POD event is received and IDOC will be sent to ECC for updating in inbound delivery via inbound IDOC.

I would like to know other possible options sending POD to ECC other than IDOC methodology. Kind let me know the possible ways other then IDOC for sending Delivered event to ECC for Inbound delivery.

Hi Sudhan,

Are you using rule SEND_POD? if not then take a look at it as it also creates IDOCs. If you do not want IDOC, explore other options like qRFC call of FMs in ECC which updates deliveries with POD.
