hi guys this is aravindu,

actually i have one doubt how to test edi  to idoc scenario.if any bady know please tell me.

Hi Aravindu,

testing is like normal scenario. There is nothing special but it will depends how did you design it, what transaction set identifier are using (like 810, 850, 855 etc), which edi format are you exchanging (like EDIFACT, ANSIX12, TRADACOM etc) and which adapters are you using (like AS2, Seeburger, EDISeparator etc).

i will request you to understand the design and possible flows going through some blog. There are lots of blogs already in SCN. Below one good for initial understanding -

Hi,

There are 2 ways you can test edi scenarios

1. As a File to Idoc scenario.

Download a EDI file from internet ( 850 ansi x12).

Place it at a nfs location.

generate xsd from b2b cockpit and import in ESR. use X12  converter module in file channel and rest is normal xsd to idoc mapping and a normal ICO

2. You can also test AS2 to IDoc scenario
