SAP System Message: No connection to database session terminated

Hi

I am using SAP Ides system at my laptop.

My laptop got hanged up, so I pressed instant power off. [Not followed proper system shutdown procedure]

After that I am getting this error message

"No connection to database session terminated"

I have checked few thread in SCN and tried to find out file callled dev_wX, but couldn't locate it.

Can someone help me urgently? Because without this software, I am not able to practice.

Hi Arindam,

Yes. the developer trace dev_* should provide more information about that termination. Those traces are located in the /usr/sap/<SID>/*/work SAP directory (transaction AL11). Likely, you will need to contact your SAP Admin to help determine the root-cause for such termination. could be a network problem..

Though I don't believe the issue is with your frontend client, note that the SAP GUI 7.10 version is out of support for years and should be upgraded to 7.40.
