PROXYUSER.

Hello everyone,

I have a problem with the  PROXYUSER user of a SAP PI.

This user some day had locked.

Points to considerate:

1.-  The user PROXYUSER is being locked by the user SAPJSF.

2.-  The lock is random.

3.-  We did not find evidence of change password to the PROXYUSER user.

Someone have idea of wich could to be the problem with the PROXYUSER locked.

Hi Mauricio,

probably this locking happens because somebody is trying to access the system using an incorrect password. Or maybe this is not initiated by somebody but some service or process is using the incorrect password. Maybe it is not even in your organisation, but some 3rd party org. is trying to connect continously.

If you can not find out by yourself where the wrong password is stored, you might try to use the following steps:

- copy this user to a new one, like PROXYUSER_2

- use this new user in all the places you need

- than delete the old PROXYUSER

- since the old user will not exists anymore, the service/program which is still using this old user name will throw an exception, and maybe this will help you to locate the place where the wrong password was stored. But it is for sure, that your new user will be not locked anymore because of that process.

Can you check the rfc destinations in ECC that use PROXYUSER?
