New Project: SAP ECC 6.0 With HANA

Hello All,

Please guide me in steps.

Project SAP ECC 6.0 With HANA Database.

Requirements:

Production + Testing Server QAS + Development Server + Solution Manager

1- which is the stable EHP Level For ECC 6 With HANA this time & O/S Suse For SAP or anyother?.

2- Secondly i need to know about solution manager, Database will also be HANA or i can go with Solution manager 7.1 with oracle 11g at SLES 11.4?
3- if solution manager will first, second i have to install development Server?
4- If Dev server, after installation of development server can i make copy of QAS and PRD if yes then how will i perform backup is that system export or any other way?

5- In HANA Database, how we can make DR Server.

Hi Muhammad,

1. SAP ERP 6.0 EHP 7 or SAP ERP 6.0 EHP 8 on HANA. My personal idea is SAP ERP 6.0 EHP 7  with SPS 12 on HANA.

2. Both are supported, depend on you. Additional, you can refer to SAP PAM for supported database.

3. Yes, which is recommended.

4. You can use backup/restore or export/import method to build QAS and PRD system.

5. SAP HANA offers three levels of disaster recovery: support backups, storage replication, and system replication.
