Hello Experts,
I am totally new to SAP adn Interactive Forms.
At the moment i am following this tutorial
At the step where i have to make an Adaptive RFC model i run into a problem.
Below the WebDynpro tree i dont have the option off creating a model.
I am using SAP Netweaver.
Is there something there has to be installed on the server to be able to use models and Adaptive RFC models?
Hi Marc,
You have created a new WebDynpro Project.
Question:
Did you create an application?
Afterwards you should be able to 'right-click' on
<b>Models</b> in the project tree and create a new Model.

Mike

Yes i mentioned i used SAP Netweaver in the startpost wich is wrong.
I am using SAP Front End and SAP Logon 640.
So a am not using SAP Netweaver Developer Studio.
In the tutorial it is said you have to have SAP Netweaver.
But this would mean that you cant make an RFC model in se80 with Webdynpro modules ?
Hi Marc,
sorry - now I understand.
The Tutorial is based on a local installation of the Netweaver Developer Studio on
your PC, which is a integrated development environment for Java.
You want to create a WebDynpro Application for ABAP, right?
Take a look <a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_erp2005/helpdata/en/77/3545415ea6f523e10000000a155106/frameset.htm">here</a>.
Greetings,
Mike
Well i actually just want to run a few tutorials.
I havent decided if im gonna make an interactive form using webdynpro for java or webdynpro for abap( i have posted several topics and questions about this).
Since there arent any big differences between the 2.
I understand i am not using the same program as in the tutorial.
But is it not possible to make an webdynpro using RFC with transaction se80 under program SAPGUI 640?
