Please explain the difference between transaction types for maintenance cycles of SMMM,SMMN and SMDV with functions and concept.

It was useful but we need to know what is SAP0 and SAP1 in SAP CHARM.
SAP0 leaves the transport request in the import buffer, SAP1 deletes it.
Can you please explain in detail.
With SAP0, the transport request stays in import buffer even when the transaction is closed. SAP1 deletes the transport request when it is imported in production system.
