original value field not updated during results recording

Dear Experts,

Recently we have upgraded our quality server to EHP 7, during results recording for qualitative MIC the original value field is not getting updated.

Checked all threads in scn related to my issue but unfortunately i didn't find the exact solution.

Request you to help me out by providing your best solution.

Note: The existing QAS is a copy of Production server

I'd make sure that you don't have any user exits or enhancements active first.  Then if you don't find anything still, put in an incident with SAP.

Hi Craig,

Thanks for your input, we have a user exit that which will trigger while saving the results recording,

the logic in that user exit is that system will throw error message if original value field is empty.

Kindly provide us your valuable inputs.

Hi Chinna,

The "Original value" can only be updated for Quantitative characteristics not the Qualitative characteristics. This is the standard SAP behavior.

Please check the user exit as well. It should check original values only for quantitative characteristics Because, SAP only update it for Quantitative characteristics only.
