Hi,

In case of multi sites for sap plm, is it possible to have common document data vault with all sites accessing document data from common document data vault only. The sites are located globally.

Will the common doc data vault will be able to maintain referential integrity with the data in sap databases at multi sites.

Any inputs on common document data vault will be suitably rewarded.

Hi Anirudh,

SAP PLM DMS supports the already built-in KPRO concept of the SAP Netweaver. Basically it supports performant multi-site access of large engineering documents. In SAP PLM DMS you have the choice to activate this solution. You then have to set up SAP content server(s) and potentially SAP cache server(s).
