SD app implemenation

Hello,

We are trying to implement the track sales order and order creation app. Do we need a sales employee(PERNR) as a mandatory in HCM?What if we are using HCM as a third pary system. Is there any option to get the customer other than HCM.

There are 2 ways given here to create an employee master record:

  • Implement SAP ERP HCM to maintain employees in the HCM personnel records with the infotypeCommunication (0105) and the subtype (0001) of System User Name SY-UNAME.
  • If you have not done this, implement the Sales and Distribution configuration with Use Sales Employees with HR (Tcode: PULT). This IMG setting copies the appropriate HCM tables from the 000 Client and allows the setup of the employee record with the above infotype and subtype.

Ya we saw the prerequisites for implementing the Apps. My question is that if the organization doesn't have the HCM module( they have 3rd party system for HCM like successfactor...) then how can we implement this app.
