IBP S&OP Supply Planning Constrained Parameters

Hi, experts. i am new.

i am perfoming Supply Planning "Heuristic". I am looking at the Keyfigure Constrained Demand Plan Qty(CONSTRAINEDDEMAND) and this is equal Total Constrained Qty (TOTALCONSTRAINEDDEMAND).

i would like to know if there is a keyfigure that represent the Demand constrained equal 100% of resource utilization, i have only the alert overload.

I was looking for it in the SCM planning Operator and there is some disable configuration about "Constrained Demand and Supply".

Is it possible?

Hi Fabio,

Hope you are doing well!

If you want to constraint the demand based on supply constraints then you need to use supply optimizer algorithm.

I can't speak for SAP, but initially there were plans to develop finite planning algorithm but as a way forward we will have only two algorithms, unconstrained heuristics and supply optimizer. IBP for response has a capable to match (constrained) algorithm but that is for order confirmations only.
