Remove Inactive channels.

Can anybody please let me know how to get rid/remove inactive channels from PI Production.

Hi Vijay,

Just to add below comments, go to communication channel monitoring and check if any channel is in the Availability Time Planning, because if any channel is here during the time offside of the planning the channel remain as inactive.

In the Integration Directory, search for communication channels--> Extended search, select  Adapter Type example File, Attribute"Adapter Status" and value as Inactive.

You will get all File inactive channels. Select all and remove. You may need to repeat same process for each adapter type.

Also, as suggested by Manoj, before you delete make sure to check where used list and confirm its not being used.

Navigate to channel monitoring and filter by "inactive channels" you will get a list of inactive channels and you may delete those.

But however i would not suggest you to delete these until and unless you have got a confirmation for decommissioning these interface .

Theirs no harm in leaving the inactive interface which may be needed at later point of time.

Will the channels get deleted from monitoring only or in Directory too?

The above suggested method only helps u in getting list of inactive channels you need to find those channels and delete in configuration.
