Installing Crystal Enterprise Server 9 on Server 2012

Has anyone been able to install Crystal Enterprise Server 9 on Server 2012?

We're trying to get rid of the last of our Server 2003 VMs and this is the last piece.

The application installs, but the service will not start.

Does anyone know if a HotFix/ServicePack is available that will fix this?

Hi David,

Did you check the compatibility of Crystal Enterprise Server 9 with Windows 2012.

Crystal Reports v. 9.1 to SAP Crystal Reports 2013, Runtime Distribution and Supported Operating Sys...

Looks like you will have to upgrade to CR 2008(SP 7).
