Create user in MDM

Dear All,

Please let me know how to create users in MDM.

I have installed MDM 5.5 server componentrs. Also please let me how the user access can be restricted.

I was able to create a user in MDM and provide him necessary roles.

Hello,

Step 1) Mount MDM server

Step 2) Mount repository (if already created).

Step 3) In admin --roles..right side upper pane , right click and then add the name/code(role) for the user.

Step 4) in right side lower pane , click on function tab and define specific funcions and access to the users.

Step 5) now in left hand side pane clic on users,and after that create usr and assign role to that user that u defined earliar in Roles.

Mazdul,

You need to load the Console in order to add users and define Roles.

Under the Admin section there is an area to define Roles and Users.

The Role defines the security for the Users. There are options under the Functions and Tables & Fields tabs to define the security for each Role.

Hi,

First you need to mount server after that you need to create repository on the mounted server.

once repository created, in repository you can see the admin node.

under admin you can find the Roles,Users,Logins tables.

in Roles table, you can create a role.

in users table you can create user by attaching the role to restrict access.
