Escalation to alternate approver even if it's on hold

Hi All,

Could you please help on this below, We are currently on GRC 10.1 SP 12.

GRC escalates access request to alternate approver even when the request is on HOLD status. I would feel GRC should escalate the requests which are in In progress status. But when the request is on HOLD status GRC should not trigger escalation workflow on it. Screenshot attached.

Do we have any specific solution or changes can be done to over come. Please advise.

2136059 - UAM: Requests which are put On Hold are getting escalated
