PI/XI doesn't give permission to import RFC into imported SAP APPL swc.

Says me:

Unable to establish connection to R/3 system BRP (system=00, client=006) Troubleshooting tips:

Is the target system online?

Check the connection data (note that server names and groups are case-sensitive)

Tips for administrators (see the configuration guide for more details):

Does the user have the required authorizations in the target system?

Is the target system configured correctly in "etc/services"?

If I use IP address instead of BRP

it gives me 2 options (seperate, continue)

if I select continue: RFC list comes and I select necessary RFC to import.

At the end of the import, gives me the message below:

+ com.sap.aii.ibrep.sbeans.upload.RemoteUploadException: You cannot create new objects since the system is not the original system of the software component version

Import failed with 1 error

How can I solve this problem?

Thanks

Hi,

Since your SWC is imported, it may be worthwhile for you to check the whether the import of interfaces is permitted. To do this, call the context menu for the swc and choose Open. The Interfaces from SAP Systems Permitted checkbox must be selected on the Definition tab page.

Hi-

It may be due to following reasons

Your Xi userid role doesn`t have permission to import RFC

RFC may not be REMOTE ENABLED in se38

XI is not properly installed

Check all of these

Cemil,

Are you sure your User Id (XI user Id) has sufficient roles to import RFC/IDOC?

Hi Cemil,

Follow the prerequisites

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/2b/a48f3c685bc358e10000000a11405a/content.htm

Also check wether appropriate RFC dest is mantained in SM59 and check if the test connection and remote logon option working fine.

Check if the username and password are in proper case (case sensitivity problem).

Regards,

Prateek
