hi all

i am in the middle of system copy to SLES 12.1 Oracle 12.1 and i got error

error reported by the step: Process call '/usr/sap/POP/SYS/exe/uc/linuxx86_64/brconnect -u / -c -f crsyn -o SAPSR3' exits with error code 127. For details see log file(s) brconnect.log.). You can now:

brconnect.log

/usr/sap/POP/SYS/exe/uc/linuxx86_64/brconnect: error while loading shared libraries: libclntsh.so.10.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

my env

LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/sap/POP/SYS/exe/run:/usr/sap/POP/SYS/exe/uc/linuxx86_64:/oracle/client/12x/instantclient_12102:/oracle/POP/121/lib

any ideas

Hi,

Are you using latest version of BRTOOLS? may be, you need to upgrade it, if the present version is lower. You can refer the note below.

What version of BR*Tools are you using?

If you have not updated the BR*Tools then you first update it and see if it helps.

Also run ldd brconnect and supply the output.

Provide the contents of the /oracle/client/12x/instantclient_12102 directory.

my mane problem was i use a 7.21 uc kernel when i should use 7.21 EXT uc

anyway i update the BRTools abd it sove the problem

Hi Patrick,

Please check your environment variables for SIDADM, ORASID and BR TOOLS version per below note for Oracle 12.

please check ldd brconnect result, then we can know which location the client should be
