I am creating an application webdynpro in the t.code SE80, however the system not allow display the elements and show the following message of error:

This same occour when I test the application.

Hi camren,

Provide only the name which i have marked apart from the Port number..

You have done the right but remove the port number in the host file.

Need to provide

200.116.126.196      gohan.ces.local

After the IP address give one TAB space and give gohan.ces.local.

It is useful now check it..your issue will get solved..

Hi Carmen,

You will get the ip address from the sap logon, right click on get the properties.

For example  for development server:

172.17.4.11 devecc devecc.tst.in

you can get the Application server name(devecc.tst.in) and port details open se38 click on utilities->settings->internettransactionserver.

I have added this:

#	127.0.0.1       localhost
#	::1             localhost

    200.116.126.196 gohan.ces.local:8000

Also

#	127.0.0.1       localhost

However the error is the same..

You need to maintain Host file in your local system.

Check with your basis team for Host file details.

Hi camen,

Either you can maintain the host file in the C Drive->windows->system32->drivers->etc->hosts.

Open the file in the note pad and maintain the host file and save.

                                   OR

If your are not authorized and still you want to access.

open Internet explorer settings->internetoptions->connections->click on LANsettings.click on check box use a Proxy server provide the application server IP ADDRESS and Port Number.

These will work but internet wont work if you want internet then uncheck the check box.

What is the information that I should maintain the host file ? Where can get this information?
