Help Required For Message Flow Monitoring in SAP Solman 7.1 SP14

Dear Experts,

I am new to Solution Manager, We are currently having SAP Solution Manager 7.1 SP 14 in our environment.

We have configured Technical Monitoring, End-User Experience Monitoring, Currently we are in the Processes of Configuring Message Flow Monitoring in SAP Solution Manager.

I have Few doubts related to Integration Visibility Configuration in PI SLD. In our environment we have PI SLD has Central SLD and SAP Solution Manager SLD as Local SLD.

For Integration Visibility Configuration, I have Gone through below Links

I am not very clear on this, Do we need to Add Solution Manager System, Under PI SLD as a Connection?

How to register Message Flows in Integration Visibility Core?

Hi,

I am not sure if you already resolved this issue. However, the quick answer to your questions,

1. No, you need not add solution manager system under PI SLD. Only those systems that have business flows via PI needs to be added.

2. To identify the flows, the Discovery is run. Once run, Solution manager would able to read all the discovered flows. Later, from the Solution Manager Configuration you could 'subscribe' to these flows.
