Analysis for Office 2.3 (BPC 10) Local Member Name Error

Hi All,

We are in the process of updating our version of Analysis for Office from 2.2 (SP2 P0) to 2.3 (SP0 P0).

This update has caused our local members (in the EPM add-in for BPC) to stop displaying their description correctly. Instead of displaying the name as usual, all local members have reverted to showing '#NAME'.

Has anyone encountered this issue before, and if so, how can it be fixed?

On a side note, the latest version of Analysis for Office (2.3 SP1 P0), does fix the issue, but using it would mean re-writing all of our VB.

Hi Matt,

even if it does not help right now... but please keep in mind the unspoken thruth:

Never use a "Zero Version" like 2.3 SP0) Always wait for SP1!

SAP is just not able to execute proper regression tests!

I think there was no zero version which did not show errors again, having been solved previously already.
