Solution Manager installation stuck in Phase Check DDIC password

Hi Expert,

We are installing solman 7.1 but it stucked in phase Check DDIC password

We checked the Log sapinst and sapinst_dev please find the log please provide solution.

PLease check the screen shot of SWPM SP17 , tell me which loption to be used to install Solman 7.1

Hi SROY,

seems you are using 'SWPM10SP17_3-20009707.SAR' instead of '70SWPM10SP17_3-20009707.sar'

please download the correct verison of swpm tool

Please find the SM59 which i checked.

Os is Windows Server 2012 R2

or can you let me  know how to install with new SWPM it shows Abap and Java with separate option

#. Is it a fresh installation

#. What is the database you are using

# Are you using any special later on password.

thank you for your reply.

# we installing fresh system

# our DB is Sybase.

# Password we are using cap+small+digits

it having some problem in rfc creation when i login through DDIC with password and try for SM59 for RFC i am getting error, I checked SMGW  for host name buffer there i found the gate way is showing different IP, so help me how to change the IP ,

Hi Roy,

please share the screenshot which you are referring. please let us know which operating system you are using.

please check if the correct entries are maintain in host file (/etc/hosts in linux or c:windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts in windows)
