Hi Team We need few help on troubleshooting HANA PAL integration error with Expert Analytics. We tried configuring the Expert Analytics by connecting to HANA instance and tried the clustering algorithm . We tried the other algorithms too. But we consistently get the following errors. Requesting your expert advice on resolving this issue. An error occurred while executing the query.Error details: SAP DBTech JDBC: [423]: AFL error: [423] "SYSTEM"."AFL_WRAPPER_GENERATOR": line 61 col 5 (at pos 1844): [423] (range 3) AFL error exception: AFL error: [423] "SYSTEM"."AFLPM_CREATOR": line 10 col 5 (at pos 193): [423] (range 3) AFL error exception: AFL error: registration finished with errors, see indexserver trace Undefined Best Regards Dhinesh Kumar Ganeshan
Hi Jayanta
Thanks for your response. Below is the training set we used in SAP PA and applied HANA K means. As per your suggestion, the Country column is string field which is violating the K means basic criteria of only numeric fields. So we tried removing the countries and ran the kmeans again but still we received error registration failed.
Thanks
Naveen

Hi Naveen,
The dataset has DECIMAL types which is not listed as supported in the note I shared earlier: https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/2295127/E
However, an implicit flag has been added in the 3.0 patch 1, which I would recommend you upgrade to, that handles DECIMAL as DOUBLE.
Or (not recommended) add the flag (-Dpa.decimal.enabled=true) to the Expert configuration file (SAPPredictiveAnalysis.ini) manually if you cannot upgrade right away.
Regards,
Jayant
Hi Naveen,
Can you please check the data types of columns in use? The SAP Note #2295127 lists the column store types supported by the HANA algorithms in Expert.
Best,
Jayant

Hi Naveen,
Just wondering if the note guided you to resolution... if so, can you please mark this thread answered?
Thanks,

Hi Naveen,
Check your index trace. If your index trace says that the procedure is duplicated that means you are creating the procedure again and again. Running wrapper generator procedure itself is enough. Ensure all the tables, views and the procedure are in the same package and you have enough authorizations.
Index trace can be found here:
Administration -> Open Default Administration -> Diagnosis Files -> indexserver_ktindxxxx.trc
Hope this helps.
Cheers!
