Export to Excel - formatting, running macros or post processing

Hi,

I've created an FPM application (using component FPM_LIST_UIBB_ATS).  This works well .  The aim is to export this to Excel where the user will do some extra formatting before printing.

Is it possible to do some processing after the excel export eg run a macro or format cells.

I've seen some solutions for standard OLE but I don't think they will work with the EXPORT_TO_EXCEL event in FPM

Any help much appreciated

Hi Andrew,
the list ats uibb does not support special formating / macros for excel, however as soon as the list data is fully exported to excel you may run there your own macros do formating etc.

okay thanks I suspected as much but thought there may be away to put some code in after the export to excel event has been raised which kicks off a macro.  But it sounds as though I'll just have to get the users to execute the macro themselves

Yes, I think so, unfortunately there is no exit or something like this available.
