File size limit error - Socket Exception - REST Receiver Adapter

Hi guys, we are sending out a JSON file to a https URL. Any file larger than 1 MB is being failed with the following error: SocketException: Connection reset by peer. We are using REST receiver adapter. We tried to send the same message to the URL via soapUI and we still face the same error. Folks from the target side have increased their file limit upto 2GB and their timeout parameter upto 300 sec. Channel ping shows no errors. Still we are facing this issue. Any ideas/thoughts/suggestions?

Please check note 1966721 - socket write error when sending large amount of data for soap adapter

I knoe it is not rest adapter, but you should try the scenario with soap adapter, as a workaround.
