Team,
Is it a SAP standard that ROOT WBS be always named same as that of PROJECT?
My PROJECT IS MYN -71
as per present Config MYN - 71 is the root WBS under which all other WBS are made.
can all other WBS be directly created under PROJECT than under this root WBS , OR CAN this root WBS be named something different or "root" itself.
regards
Mandan
Thanks all for the replies..GoodDay

Hi Mandan,
Its not a new thing to have root WBS same as the project definition. If you do not want the root WBS to be same as Project Definition then uncheck the root WBS check box in Project Profile setting.
Tracking of the WBS & Project will become easier if the root WBS is same as the Project Definition.

Hi Mandan,
Nope this is not standard SAP behaviour.. you can have Root WBS L1 same as Project definition or different as per your coding Mask..
Having similar L1 as PD could be a Business decision.. You can check with your business counterpart why Root WBS has to be same as PD..
