SAP EP(7.02) migration from windows to linux

Dear All,

We are planning to migrate SAP EP(7.02)  from windows cluster environment to Linux RHEL7 (standalone server and no cluster).

Please clear me following:

1.  Which source system export will work for target system installation ie "Database and central System export" or "Distributed System Export"?        Why  i am asking because we are moving cluster to non cluster.

2.  can we provide schema user password and SDM password different while target system installation?

Hi Verma.

1.  You have to follow SAP Heterogeneous system copy guide. refer the system copy guide

SAP NetWeaver Guide Finder 

Refer the SAP note 82478 - SAP system OS/DB migration

Source export will be same as HA environment in Windows cluster. keep the all the source exports in one folder.

I am not sure, I think you can change the password in the target system.
