Suppressing a particular DB alert in solution manager

Hi ,

Can anyone tell me the procedure to suppress particular alerts for some time for which a fix is in progress. I would like to suppress one particular alert for some time in the section "Other Error Messages" related to DB alerts.

Work mode downtime should meet your need, you can schedule downtime in IT Calendar.

Hi Varun,

The best way to stop the alert from occurring is to deactivate the Alert at template
level in Step 4 of Tech Mon.

Afterwards, reconfigure the monitoring in Step 6 & the alert will not occur.

If this affects only 1 MO, then use the MO specific settings in step 6 & then reconfigure again.

If you are using templates for monitoring alerts then you can deactivate particular metric from template.
