SUM error in Specify OS User Credentials Step

Hi All,

As we performing the system upgrade with SUM, we faced the error as being shown here:

The user password we used is correct.

The note 927637 cannot be implemented in the system. How can we troubleshoot this step?

The SAP system is installed on Windows server.

The Software Update Manager we used is 1.0 SP17.

SAP host agent 7.21 SP15.

The note 927637 is not something which you implement using the Tx SNOTE. In fact you should review the recommendations given in the note 927637 specific to Windows based systems.

Try updating the sapstartsrv program and restart the service and see if that helps.
