Removing Empty Field

Dear Experts

I have to achieve following Functionality in Mapping:

i have a field which takes string input, some time i get only empty spaces as a input( one or more ).
If i have value with only empty spaces then target field should not get created otherwise it should pass the value from the input.
How to achieve this functionality
