BW Data sources issue
1. We have done system refresh for both ECC[RT1] and BW[BT2] system.
2. As per the post refresh task, we have to establish the source system connection for BW.
3. We have established source system connection from both end and its working fine.
4. We have asked BW team to check the test load from ECC system.
5. They are getting the below error in BT2 [BW] system.
You will get the above error.
Screen shots for reference:
BW[BT2]:
ECC[RT1]:
Q1. Confirm you are just copying BW back without ECC... or are you doing both?
We have done both refresh altogether, and then we have this error.
Also we have done without BW system also, we have refreshed ecc system but still the same data source is pointing to production entries.
Could you please resolve this one.
Hi Raman and Asif,
Good News
somewhat i have fixed i think. The data transfer process version is not active for those mentioned data source,in table level i could see all are in active status. so it is pointing to old logical entries. I have manually activated those entries. PFB screen shot for your reference.
Key point:
Now i didn't get the error after the activation..seems fixed. any way i need confirmation from BW team.
I will update you once i get some input from them. Gave points to both

Hi Sabarish,
please try below steps for one data source and see.
1. ECC side LBWE - check whether your data source is active or not.
2. if its active then replicate into BW system and activate bw data source.
3. later lets try check replicated data source, whether it gives same error or not.
if not the continue same for rest of pending data sources.
Mean while please share Ltxt error message from second screen(5th step) shot.
Thanks

Hi Raman,
Thanks for your support. I have checked in LBWE tcode. PFB for your reference.
We could see all are in active status. we have done so many times for replication but nothing worked here even after the issue, we have done ECC system refresh also but still somewhere they is production entries persist. ie RP1CLNT100
Ltxt error message:
Could you please check with this info and update me if you need further data. thanks in advance.

please check in bw system tables - ROOSORCE nd RSDS.
whether it shows your data source in Active version or not.
Even let see, which source system entry is showing against your data source in those tables.
Lets compare whole entry with other data source which is active in bw system in above tables,.
that mat give some idea.
Other wise, lets transport active data source from Dev to Qua system of BW.
Hi Raman,
Thanks for your continuous support. Here i have checked ROOSORCE and found below.
Regarding RSDS table, i could see that all are in active status and here my doubt is,the data source 2LIS_11_VASCL[RP1CLNT100] does not exit in object version M but i could see from below the 2LIS_11_VASCL is pointing to data type D. is there something we have to change?
Could you please check with this log and update me if you have anything. Thanks .

Sabarish
Hi Vasu,
Table name - ROOSOURCE.
the type - D is fine. because your data source is transaction type. its fine
Lets try below steps.
1. From ECC dev to re-transport your active data source to ECC Qua.
2. Replicate ECC Qua data source to BW Qua.
3. Collect bw active data source into Transport and move to W Qua.
4. Lets check whether it shows active data source in Bw qua. if yes then
5. lets transport your rest of the data flow to make it as active.
Thanks

Hi,
If every datasource has been converted properly and maintains their respective data flow, then for some reason BDLS did not able to remove these extractores inspite of being converted to the new source system.
You can check some steps like:
Go to SE16 Table RSBASIDOC and display the entries.
Cross check in RSLOGSYSMAP table in both BW and R/3 systems.

Hi Asif,
Thanks for your support. I have checked as per the input. But still am not able to find the Production system entries in the mentioned tables. Could you please help me with below screen shots. Thanks again.
Table RSBASIDOC :
RT1:
BT2:
Table RSLOGSYSMAP :
There is no entries for table RSLOGSYSMAP in RT1 system.
