I have linked Project definition(PS) to portfolio item using object link. But after linking, system is not updating field 'Name' with project definition description. We are implementing PPM 6.1 SP02
I don't want to sync the project definition to the portfolio item name. My query was about updating the column/field 'Name' in object link with project definition name.
Because as far as i know, when we link project definition to portfolio item as a object link, system updates two column in object link, one is 'Identification' which is nothing but the project definition ID and another is 'Name' which should be project definition name, but in my case 'Name' is also updated with project definition ID whereas it should be a project definition name.
I hope, I have stated the problem much more clearly now.
I think this systembehaviour has to be analyzed. So, you can open a Customer Incident so that one of my colleagues or myself can find out the root cause.
