Contract stuck at status I1015 - Awaiting Approval.

Hi Guru's

I have got a problem suddenly.

In our production system Contract are all of a sudden hanging with status I1015          Awaiting Approval. Works fine in QA system!

Stats:

Status         Description

HEADER I1015          Awaiting Approval

The contract do not have any approval workflow based on the standard process evaluation

Hi,

You have to check if there is any errors in the workflow log.
To do this, got workitem id for this contract via bbp_pd,, and then come to trx swi1 and input the workitem id. Then choose the entry and click 'display workflow log' button. Then check the details for each step to see if there is any error.
If there is no error for workflow, you may then check the document to see if there is any application error. If no error is identified, and issue only happened to this specific contract, you may consider manually approve it using trx swo1.

Hi Ivy,

The problem is there are no WF generated for these contracts because there is no approval of the release of the contract!

It works in our QA and no transports have been send to PROD...

Hi,

OK, I know this specific kind of workflow where no workitem id will be generated.
As I already told you, if the issue only happened to this specific document, you may approve it manually via swo1:

input object type BUS2000113 and click test;
click instance and input header guid of this document(this can be fetched from bbp_pd);
click 'setreleased' option and input the initiator (any value is OK);
then execute and document will be approved.

No this happens to all new contracts since yesterday and not only this one 😞

I do not know what trigger the status i1015 to be set to inactive?

Hi Tom,

Please check the solution in these KBA notes:

1466930 Automatic approval is not working - Linkage issue

1697416 Automatic approval for last step is not completing

1625513 Workflow without approval is Awaiting approval status

Meanwhile are you using PC or AC workflow?

Hi Tom,

Please check if all the settings in the mentioned KBAs are maintained correctly, and reset them if not proper. Then retest with a new document to see if issue persists.
