Dear All,
I'm using Sybase replication server transferring data between ASEs. But in the Sybase Replication Server Heterogeneous Replication Guide, I see the Sybase IQ can only be replicate server -- so does it mean Sybase IQ can't be the datasource for Replication server?
Is that right? Thanks
Regards
Eisen
The simple answer is 'No'. IQ cannot be a source for SRS, only a target.
The long answer is - IQ does not have a transaction log to be a source as SRS understands it.
Question: Why would you want to take data out of IQ in a transactional manner?

This is the purpose of HANA Extended storage and Data Warehouse Foundation/Data Lifecycle Manager. You can move data between HANA and IQ and provide a unified view between the data in the tables.

Hi c.baker,
Can we replicate data from primary Sap IQ Node to Secondary Node live to live for Disaster recovery perspective.
Kindly Suggest any suitable solution.
