BSEG BKPF Transformation in SLT

Hi Experts,

We are planning to extract BSEG and BKPF Extraction from ECC -> SLT -> BW.

I would like to know if it is recommended  to do a look up to BKPF from BSEG using SLT Transformation?

Or is better to do a classic approach -> Look up to BKPF (DSO) from BSG (DSO) in side the BW system?

Or join the two table together using a Composite Provider.

Hi Thomas,

Unless your SLT is installed on your ECC, you can hardly do a lookup on the SLT system (the ECC tables don't exist in SLT).

So you'd better use a composite provider (especially if you need realtime reporting) or if you really need to store physically all the data in the same dataProvider do your lookup at the BW side.
