Prompt For Customizing Request

Hi

While I am saving any change in SPRO, system is not showing 'Prompt For Customizing Request''.

I want this screen should pop up whenever I saving any changes in SPRO.

Can anyone give me a solution?

Check client administration in SCC4. This control is customized here globally.

Automatic recording of changes radio button should be selected.

I recommend that you do not make any changes to SCC4 without first speaking to the Basis Administrator responsible for this system.

After save in SCC4, open spro t-code again. But I wonder: if you're using an Ides test system, you'll probably not need a transport request, or would you, and why?

Yes. You are right. I don't need it. I was just curious to know about the process to get that screen. I have seen the same screen in other IDES system, but not getting in my system.

Hi ,

This matters about setting are related to BASIS modules actually. Its good that you are learning a lot outside of SD also. Hope this issue is solved by now. If solved then, please do close this discussion thread. Anyways only SCC4 is not the only option for a SAP system settings, others are also there available like SE06 also.
