Help with install

Hello, I am a complete newbie to installing SAP.

I am trying to install SAP R/3 4.7 on Windows Server 2003 and Oracle 8.1.7. During the install I am getting the error ORA-00942: table or view does not exist during post proccessing stage of the database.

Here is what the SAPVIEW.log says:

Any help would be appreciated on this. I am a bit new to installing SAP so please bear with my newbie questions.

This kind of error often occurs when you have a bad CD or bad copy of CD.

try to copy files from CD again and try again.

plz consider, that <b>oracle 8.1.7 is not and never was supported for windows 2003 server!!!</b>

Hi,

Replace the oracle 8174 with 9206.andlet us know the result
